Available Hours: 36.5 hours per week
Intermediate Care is a 365‑day‑a‑year, 7‑day‑a‑week service. Typically our night shifts are 9:45 pm‑8:15 am, working over a fixed fortnightly working pattern. This includes weekend and Bank Holiday rotas.

We are looking for caring and compassionate people to join Care Services Westmorland and Furness, based at Maudes Meadow, as part of a new team of Intermediate Care Support Workers.
About the role:
As an Intermediate Care Support Worker you will work with people who have been identified as having intermediate care needs, providing support in an empowering way to promote recovery and maximise independence. This is an incredibly rewarding opportunity, giving you the chance to work with people on achieving identified goals and outcomes, supporting them to retain as much independence as possible and to remain living within their local community.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting individuals with personal care, ensuring they are treated with dignity and respect.
- Supporting and administering medication as required.
- Working with individuals on their own personal outcomes, as agreed within a person‑centred, strength‑based plan.
- Working closely with colleagues across the Service, including Therapists and Social Workers.
