About this opportunity

Care Services Westmorland and Furness, based at Maudes Meadow, are seeking Indoor Care Support Workers to join a new team of Intermediate Care Support Workers. This role supports people who have intermediate care needs, promoting recovery and maximizing their independence.

About the role

As an Intermediate Care Support Worker you will work with people identified as having intermediate care needs, providing support in an empowering way. You will help them achieve their personal goals and remain living within their local community while supporting their independence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support individuals with personal care, ensuring they are treated with dignity and respect.
  • Assist with and administer medication as required.
  • Work with individuals on their own personal outcomes, as agreed within a person‑centred, strength‑based plan.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues across the Service, including Therapists and Social Workers.
