Location: Carlisle Registration Office, Petteril Bank Road, Carlisle
Hours: 37 hours per week.
Contract: Permanent
About this opportunity
Entry Level Salary: £25,584 – £25,992 pro rata
Intermediate Salary: – £27,711 – £28,624 pro rata
Final Salary: £33,366 – £34,314 pro rata
You will commence post as an Entry Level Registration Officer, progressing to Intermediate and then finally a Registration Officer.
This role is available on a permanent Full Time basis.

We are looking for the right person in Carlisle to help us meet the needs of customers attending the Registration Offices to register births, deaths and still-births as well as make arrangements for their wedding civil partnership or citizenship ceremony amongst other things!
Whether you are looking for a change of career or to develop to another level we will support you throughout. Although similar experience is helpful it is not essential as there will be an extensive training programme of up to 2 years to progress the successful individual to the role of Registration Officer. There will be a mix of eLearning, observations, coaching, assessments and research & reflection.
You will work frontline with our clients throughout your training, initially with a mentor and gradually able to work without direct supervision. There will be a need to work at different sites around the county to ensure we provide you with the full experience required
