We are looking for an inspirational tutor to deliver maths courses to our learners across Carlisle. You will prepare and deliver creative and exciting lessons that stretch and challenge adult learners. You will be working from a variety of settings across the local community, and your learners will have a wide range of backgrounds and abilities.
We are looking for someone who is confident to and/or has experience of teaching Functional Skills Maths (all levels) and GCSE Maths. We would like you to have a recognised teaching qualification or be working towards one. Our tutors have a can-do attitude and build excellent working relationships with their learners and colleagues across the Adult Learning Service.
We need you to have a flexible approach to meet emerging demand for maths provision in the local area, so this role may include some evening work. Adult Learning was rated Good by Ofsted at our last inspection. We are now on a journey towards becoming an Outstanding provider. We aim to inspire the people of Cumbria and transform the lives of our communities.
