Looking for a role where you can make a real difference? Following our Good Ofsted judgement in 2024, we're continuing to invest in our workforce and are looking for a passionate Social Worker to join our Cared For Children and Young People Team in the Barrow In Furness area. Working with children in care, care leavers and unaccompanied asylum-seeking children, you'll help provide stability, build positive relationships and support children and young people to achieve their potential. With an average caseload of 17 children, strong management support and access to a dedicated Social Work Academy, this is an opportunity to build meaningful relationships with children while developing your own career within a supportive and ambitious service.

The Role

As a Social Worker within the Cared For Children and Young People Team, you'll work directly with children and young people, ensuring their voices are heard and their needs are met. Working alongside families, carers and partner agencies, you'll develop plans that are ambitious, child-centred and focused on achieving the best possible outcomes.
