About this opportunity

Westmorland and Furness Facilities Team at Kendal Town Hall require a Business Support Officer to support the Town Hall Team Leader with the day-to-day administration and operation of the Town Hall.

What we are looking for

A key aspect of the Business Support role involves communicating with both members of the public and professionals, primarily via phone and email. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for the preferred candidate.

You’ll be part of a well-supported team and have strong working relationships with all our stakeholders, both internal and external.

Ideally you will have previous experience in administration/invoicing/ compiling job sheets/stock ordering/information gathering and experience of financial systems such as E5. The role can involve many different aspects/workstreams and requires a strong eye for detail.

You will be expected to liaise with the public and external stakeholders to assist in the booking and management of external and internal bookings.

You would need to demonstrate flexibility and be prepared to get stuck in if required. Kendal Town Hall is a very busy building and at times you may be required to support one of the many events that take place.
