Kismet Kebabs is a leading food manufacturing site specialising in Frozen Kebabs, Chicken Kebabs and semi part cooked and sliced Kebabs. We are currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking Retail & Wholesale Customer Service Administrator to join our team in Latchingdon, Essex.
The Retail & Wholesale Customer Service Administrator plays a key role in supporting day-to-day customer service, order processing, logistics coordination, invoicing and production planning. This position ensures accuracy across retail and wholesale orders, payments, deliveries and stock systems, while acting as a central communication point between customers, drivers, production and finance.
Key Responsibilities- Process and verify retail customer orders and invoices with high accuracy.
- Coordinate delivery routes, driver schedules and logistics documentation.
- Organise payments and manage daily credit control using Sage and WorldPay.
- Manage Proof of Delivery (POD) documentation and customer delivery records.
- Communicate with retail customers to collect orders and resolve queries.
- Maintain accurate records across order, invoicing, stock and production systems.
- Support production planning, stock control and dispatch administration during cover periods.
- Ensure timely processing of invoices, delivery notes and pallet documentation.
- Excellent communication skills, with a good standard of both verbal and written English. A good understanding of Turkish is desirable, but not essential.
- Previous experience in customer service is advantageous.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Friendly, approachable, and able to build rapport with diverse customers and colleagues.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
This role is ideal for individuals who have some previous experience in a similar role and are passionate about delivering outstanding customer service, although full training will be provided. The ability to drive and access to own transport would be advantageous due to location.
