Reporting to the Quality Manager, the QC Field Technician is responsible for collecting materials from various jobsites and may assist with material testing.
Responsibilities:
- Primary duties include sample collection in the field at various jobsites within Toronto and the GTA (a company vehicle is provided for travel between sites).
- Participate in activities related to the quality system and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Strong commitment to Health and Safety.
- The ability to lift at least 50lbs on a regular basis is required.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage and prioritize workload.
- Must have excellent attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Must be available to work flexible & long shifts.
- Experience in the civil industry is an asset.
- Must have a valid Ontario G-class Driver’s License with an acceptable driver’s abstract.
Location: In-person at our Scarborough location (70 Passmore Avenue, Toronto, ON)
Seasonality: Our season is operational from April to December. During the winter months, snow removal positions are available.
Compensation: Starting at $23.00/hour, overtime after 50 hours per week.
