The Cruise Globe is building the world’s leading digital platform for cruise travellers. We’re building the “Strava for cruises” - a product that lets cruisers see their exact routes and stats, capture and share their journeys, and then plan, book, and track what comes next. In under nine months, more than 100,000 cruisers joined the platform, with over 500,000 cruises logged — all with zero marketing spend. Today, we’re building the #1 cruise app in the world, and the central digital hub for a global community of over 34 million cruise passengers.

We are hiring a Senior Content Producer to build and run a scalable, video-first content engine across The Cruise Globe and The Cruise Maps. This role exists to make content a first-class, well‑run function. You will take ownership of how content is planned, produced, repurposed, organised, and published, with a strong focus on short‑form video for organic and paid social. This is a genuinely hands‑on role. You will personally shoot, edit, and publish much of our day‑to‑day content, while also knowing when to manage higher‑production shoots with external partners.

You will work closely with the founders, our product team, and external marketing agencies to ensure there is always a strong flow of fresh, effective creative. A major advantage of this role is close collaboration with Emma Cruises, one of the largest and most trusted cruise creators in the world. You will help translate deep creator intuition and audience insight into scalable, high-performing content across platforms.

Success in this role is measured by:

  • Much better use of founder‑led content and existing UGC
  • Smarter repurposing across organic and paid channels
  • Faster creative iteration informed by performance and results

This role has significant room for growth. Someone exceptional could progress into a Head of Content or Head of Creative role as the company scales.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Produce and Publish Video-First Content
  • Personally shoot and edit short‑form video content for TikTok, Reels, Shorts, and paid social
  • Capture founder‑led and team‑led content efficiently using lightweight setups
  • Publish and schedule content in a thoughtful, algorithm‑aware way
  • Maintain a steady cadence of output without sacrificing quality or speed

Build a Scalable Content Pipeline

  • Plan content in advance rather than reacting week to week
  • Design content with repurposing in mind from the start
  • Turn a small number of core assets into multiple formats and variants
  • Use AI and modern tools to accelerate production and reduce manual effort

Leverage and Organise Community Content

  • Organise and curate the large volume of inbound UGC we already receive
  • Edit and repurpose community and creator content into platform‑native formats
  • Maintain a structured and searchable content library
  • Ensure valuable content does not get lost or under‑used

Improve Creative Through Iteration

  • Track how content performs and feed insights back into future creative
  • Work closely with external paid media partners to supply effective creative at scale
  • Continuously test hooks, formats, and storytelling approaches
  • Use performance feedback to refine direction without over‑engineering

Lead on Larger Creative Projects When Needed

  • Help plan and brief higher‑production photo or video shoots
  • Manage external photographers or videographers where appropriate
  • Ensure outputs fit within the wider content system and brand direction

Core Requirements

  • Strong hands‑on experience producing short‑form video content
  • Confident shooting and editing content yourself
  • Excellent graphic design and video editing skills
  • Clear understanding of how TikTok, Instagram, and similar platforms work
  • Ability to think in content systems rather than one‑off posts
  • Comfortable publishing and scheduling content, not just creating it
  • Strong content taste and attention to detail
  • Data‑aware and comfortable iterating creative based on performance
  • Highly organised with disciplined asset and file management
  • Comfortable in a startup environment with pace and ambiguity
  • AI‑fluent and actively uses tools to increase output and efficiency
  • A natural on‑set presence who can help people feel comfortable and authentic on camera
