The Crown is a Two AA Rosette pub restaurant in rural Worcestershire with a growing reputation as a destination dining venue. We're hiring a General Manager to lead the next stage of our journey and we mean it.
The mission:
- Drive the operation from Two Rosettes toward Three
- Secure a Michelin Bib Gourmand
- Build the team, systems and culture to deliver consistently at that level
- Grow covers, spend and contribution across café, restaurant and bar
What you get:
- £40,000 - £50,000 base, depending on experience
- Full share of tronc / service charge on top
- Equity in the business available to the right candidate, against performance milestones
- Full P&L ownership and genuine autonomy
- Training, development, supplier trips and industry events

What you bring:
- Proven GM or strong AGM experience in a rosette-level or premium gastropub / restaurant
- Demonstrable track record on covers, GP, labour and EBITDA
- Genuine passion for food, wine and hospitality
- Strong people leader - recruits, develops and retains
- Commercially sharp and confident with P&L reporting
- High energy, hands-on, visible on the floor every service
- Personal Licence holder (or willing to obtain one immediately)
Nice to have:
- Experience working toward AA Rosette, Michelin or Good Food Guide recognition
- WSET or equivalent wine qualification
- Rural or destination venue background
- Opening, repositioning or scaling experience
