The Crown is a Two AA Rosette pub restaurant in rural Worcestershire with a growing reputation as a destination dining venue. We're hiring a General Manager to lead the next stage of our journey and we mean it.

The mission:

  • Drive the operation from Two Rosettes toward Three
  • Secure a Michelin Bib Gourmand
  • Build the team, systems and culture to deliver consistently at that level
  • Grow covers, spend and contribution across café, restaurant and bar

What you get:

  • £40,000 - £50,000 base, depending on experience
  • Full share of tronc / service charge on top
  • Equity in the business available to the right candidate, against performance milestones
  • Full P&L ownership and genuine autonomy
  • Training, development, supplier trips and industry events
  • The backing of an ownership group that invests properly

What you bring:

  • Proven GM or strong AGM experience in a rosette-level or premium gastropub / restaurant
  • Demonstrable track record on covers, GP, labour and EBITDA
  • Genuine passion for food, wine and hospitality
  • Strong people leader - recruits, develops and retains
  • Commercially sharp and confident with P&L reporting
  • High energy, hands-on, visible on the floor every service
  • Personal Licence holder (or willing to obtain one immediately)

Nice to have:

  • Experience working toward AA Rosette, Michelin or Good Food Guide recognition
  • WSET or equivalent wine qualification
  • Rural or destination venue background
  • Opening, repositioning or scaling experience
