We are seeking a dedicated and safety-focused Safety Critical Trainer to deliver high-quality, compliant training within the Rail Training Assurance Scheme (RTAS) and Sentinel Scheme standards. Approved by the Assurance Organisation on behalf of Network Rail, you’ll be responsible for facilitating training sessions across a variety of safety-critical competencies, ensuring every delegate is trained to the highest industry standards.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Deliver approved Network Rail training using current materials from the Network Rail Training Toolkit
- Maintain accurate, compliant training records and upload outcomes to the Sentinel Database
- Ensure all pre-course checks, Sentinel verifications, and learner prerequisites are completed
- Promote and maintain a safe training environment in accordance with Lifesaving Rules
- Adhere to and promote company procedures, including fatigue management and observation cycles
- Participate in monthly standardisation meetings, CPD activities, and Quality Improvement Plans
- Assist in the creation and upkeep of Self-Assessment Reports and other quality initiatives
- Ensure full compliance with RTAS Rules, NSAR standards, and Crown Group procedures
- Support investigations and formal reviews as needed
