About the Role
Working alongside our Head Chef and kitchen team, you'll help deliver a high-quality breakfast and daytime offering using locally sourced ingredients--many straight from our farm shop. From preparing fresh dishes to maintaining a smooth kitchen operation, you'll play a key role in creating a welcoming and memorable experience for our visitors.
Responsibilities
- Preparing and cooking fresh breakfast and café dishes with care and consistency
- Delivering efficient service, even during busy periods
- Working closely with front-of-house teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
- Maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene
- Supporting stock control and minimising waste
- Keeping the kitchen clean, safe and well-organised at all times
Qualifications
- Experience in a chef or cook role in a busy kitchen environment
- A genuine passion for fresh, seasonal, farm-to-table food
- Strong organisation skills and attention to detail
- Ability to stay calm and work efficiently under pressure
- A team-player mindset with great communication skills
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards (certification preferred)
- A positive, reliable and proactive approach
