We\’re looking for a skilled and passionate butcher to join our team at Windsor Farm Shop, part of The Crown Estate. This role involves delivering exceptional products to our customers while maintaining high standards of presentation, food hygiene, and customer service. You will be a key part of our butchery operation, focusing on meat preparation and supporting the shop as needed.

As a butcher at Windsor Farm Shop, your responsibilities include:

  1. Cutting and preparing meat for the counter, including de-boning and sausage making.
  2. Keeping counters fully stocked with proper labelling and rotation.
  3. Completing HACCP paperwork and conducting product intake spot checks.
  4. Delivering outstanding customer service and supporting marketing initiatives.
  5. Managing stock transfers, wastage sheets, and accurate stock takes.
  6. Advising customers with up-to-date product knowledge to maximize sales.
  7. Maintaining health and safety standards and reporting maintenance issues.
  8. Supporting overall operations and contributing to service improvements.
  9. Following additive and preservative record protocols.
  10. Responding appropriately to emergencies and evacuation procedures.
  11. Taking on additional duties to support the wider Windsor Farm Shop team.
