We are working with a leading interior design studio that is seeking a Midweight Interior Designer to join their talented team, working across a portfolio of high-end hospitality and residential projects. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious designer looking to develop their skills in a fast-paced, design-led studio environment.
The successful candidates will work closely with senior team members across all stages of the design process from concept development and client presentations through to technical drawings, FF&E specification, and site coordination. You’ll be confident working from initial concept to completion and able to take responsibility across multiple project stages.
A high level of technical ability is essential, including strong AutoCAD skills, FF&E specification experience, and a solid understanding of UK building regulations and construction detailing. This role offers the opportunity to be part of a collaborative and inspiring studio, working on beautifully detailed hospitality spaces with a team that values creativity, precision, and professional development.
Key Responsibilities:- Produce accurate drawing packages and details in AutoCAD
- Prepare design presentations, material boards, and schedules
- Take part in supplier meetings, showroom visits, and site coordination
- Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, and contractors
- Collaborate with the wider team to ensure design intent is maintained through to delivery
- Experience required: 3–6 years in a similar role
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign, and SketchUp
- Strong understanding of FF&E, joinery detailing, and materiality
- Ability to lead small packages of work and support junior designers
- Excellent communication, time management, and organisation skills
