Working from their vibrant office in central London, you will be a key player in the later stages of projects, translating creative concepts into detailed and executable plans. Your technical expertise will be crucial in ensuring the designs are not only visually stunning but also functional and feasible. The ideal candidate would have prior experience working on commercial and retrofit projects in London, providing end-to-end project delivery from concept through to completion, ensuring every detail is meticulously crafted to meet the clients’ needs. Key Responsibilities:- Develop detailed design and construction documents and technical specifications, ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and regulations.
- Collaborate with architects, designers, contractors and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution from design development to construction.
- Prepare and present design proposals and technical details to clients, articulating the vision and addressing any technical concerns or adjustments.
- Review and refine design documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with project goals and client expectations.
- Address technical challenges that arise during the construction phase, providing solutions that maintain the integrity of the design.
- Work closely with the design and on-site team to ensure that the creative vision is maintained throughout the project while considering practical and technical constraints.
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and construction techniques to continuously enhance the quality and innovation of our projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in architectural design, technical design, or a similar role within the architecture and design-build industry.
- Proficiency in Revit is beneficial along with AutoCAD.
- Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and construction methods.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage and inspire clients.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Experience in working on the later stages of architectural projects, including construction documentation and administration.
