About The Role: Our client, a mid-sized design consultancy, is looking for an enthusiastic and collaborative Technical Architect/Designer to join their team on a permanent basis at their central London office. The studio is involved in a variety of high-profile projects, including strategic planning for major international developments. They are currently seeking a Technical Architect/Designer with at least 5 years of professional experience, strong technical expertise, and experience delivering spatial and experiential projects. You will work as part of a dynamic team, supporting the technical development, project delivery, and design quality of exciting projects while ensuring they align with the studio’s creative vision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with internal teams and help lead coordination with external teams
  • Support fabrication and production coordination on international projects
  • Oversee detailed design and construction packages throughout the entire project lifecycle
  • Address queries and coordinate with external consultants, stakeholders, and contractors on all design and technical matters
  • Collaborate with design teams to understand project workflows, providing technical expertise and supporting project delivery and development through BIM and Revit
Key Skills / Requirements:
  • A minimum of 4 years of professional experience within a design practice
  • Strong proficiency in Revit and BIM coordination is essential for this role
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite is beneficial
  • Awareness of fabrication processes and a strong portfolio of built work
  • Familiarity with user-centred design strategies and principles
  • Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills in English
