About The Role: The Crowd are partnered with a trailblazing international architecture and design practice that are seeking a Senior On-Site Architect to represent our client on a major aviation project in Jeddah. This position offers the opportunity to act as the primary on-site liaison between the client, consultants, contractors, and design team, ensuring the successful delivery of complex projects from design through to construction.
The role is suited to a licensed Architect who possesses extensive experience in construction administration, site coordination, and project leadership. You will play a key role in maintaining quality standards, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring design intent is delivered throughout the construction process.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected, design-led practice delivering large-scale, technically complex projects. This is a 6-month contract primarily based in Jeddah. Full visa support and accommodation and travel expenses will be covered. Key Responsibilities:- Act as the primary on-site representative and client liaison throughout project delivery
- Coordinate communication between clients, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders
- Support project teams through all design and construction phases
- Review and coordinate drawings, specifications, details, and project documentation
- Monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with design intent and quality standards
- Lead quality control and interdisciplinary coordination activities
- Identify and develop practical and innovative solutions to site and construction challenges
- Support project document control, reporting, and delivery processes
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to a collaborative project environment
- Assist with risk management, sustainability initiatives, and continuous improvement of project standards
- Professional degree in Architecture and registered/licensed Architect status
- Minimum 10 years’ post-qualification experience on aviation projects is essential
- Experience across all project phases from concept design through construction administration
- Strong knowledge of architectural detailing, building systems, construction methodologies, and building regulations
- Demonstrated experience representing design teams during construction and site delivery phases
- Experience working on projects involving masonry construction and existing building refurbishments or alterations
- Strong understanding of space planning, programming, and functional adjacencies
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and coordination skills
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
