About The Role:

Our client, a highly desirable and progressive international architecture studio known for their crafted projects across the world, is seeking a BIM Lead (Associate) to join their thriving office in London. With prior experience working on large projects as a BIM Coordinator and/or heavily involved in BIM processes, you would display expertise in delivering design-led architectural schemes and have worked in an architecture-focused BIM team within a leading practice. This is the perfect role for a motivated individual driven by delivering digital design excellence.

Playing a pivotal role within the studio, you would have the opportunity to build up your own BIM team, fostering a collaborative attitude towards streamlining project development workflows within the studio. Key Responsibilities:

  • Setting up Revit projects using the correct templates
  • Overseeing the continuous integration of BIM standards and procedures across both studios
  • Developing delivery plans to establish optimal workflows for a wide range of projects
  • Coordinating and maintaining BIM models and relevant supporting documents
  • Managing BIM deliverables and providing assistance throughout project execution
  • Overseeing and streamlining BIM processes and workflows
  • Ensuring the precision and quality of BIM models and data
  • Offering continuous training and support to architectural and interior teams on BIM tools and workflows, including quality control to ensure compliance with company standards for all design deliverables
  • Providing Revit training along with ongoing support and guidance
  • Leading BIM Working Group meetings, preparing agendas, and assigning tasks
  • Creating and updating template files to maintain consistent standards
  • Developing Revit families tailored to project needs and establishing standards for the visual appearance of BIM outputs, ensuring the correct setup for achieving the desired aesthetic results
  • Resource management for the BIM team

Key Skills/Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience working as a BIM coordinator or heavily managing large architectural projects through BIM
  • Expert in BIM, Revit, and Navisworks
  • Advanced experience in digital software plug-ins (Rhino and Grasshopper) is beneficial
  • Good understanding of architectural and technical buildability of a project is desirable along with knowledge of UK building regulations
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong verbal and written English
