We have partnered with a collaborative and contextual architectural studio in London, that are known for their London based projects. They are seeking a motivated, experienced and passionate Senior Landscape/Urban Designer to join their team to grow and support the team.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of professional experience working on medium-scale public realm and urban landscape schemes, demonstrating a strong design sensibility influenced by cultural context and architectural research. You would have experience in managing client relationships, confidently presenting your design vision and be passionate about blending architecture, urban design, and landscape to create distinct, meaningful environments.

Key Responsibilities:- Lead cross-disciplinary collaboration with landscape, urban design, and architectural teams, guiding projects from initial concept through to successful completion.
- Oversee the preparation of comprehensive planning submissions including Design and Access Statements and technical documentation for RIBA Stages 3 to 5.
- Produce and refine high-impact visual presentations and graphics using Rhino and Adobe Creative Suite to support project narratives and client engagement.
- Deliver confident, persuasive presentations to clients, articulating design intent clearly and handling feedback or challenges with professionalism.
- Manage client relationships proactively, facilitating on-site coordination and liaising with external consultants to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Play an active role in business development by nurturing client connections and identifying opportunities to expand the company’s portfolio.
- Nurture, mentor and lead the expanding team of landscape architects and urban designers.
- A degree or Master’s degree in landscape architecture, urban design or architecture.
- Ideally 5 years of hands-on experience delivering urban and landscape projects, with a strong focus on the public realm in London.
- Offer a high standard of creative design work based on architectural and public realm research.
- Articulate and confident in both spoken and written English, with strong communication skills.
- Proficiency in Revit and/or Rhino is preferable but not necessary for the role.
- Deeply engaged with London’s public spaces and committed to contributing to research and design that shape its urban character.
- Chartership within the field would be beneficial but not necessary.
