We are working with one of London’s leading design practices, renowned for their design-led approach and meticulous attention to detail across the built environment. They are seeking a Senior Architect with experience in the Australian market to join their team. In this role, you will play a key part in leading the delivery of medium to large-scale residential and mixed-use projects, with a focus on international housing schemes in Australia. You will work closely with a project leader, their Australia studio, clients, and project partners, coordinating across time zones to ensure seamless project delivery. This is an exceptional opportunity to take ownership of high-profile projects, delivering innovative design solutions while leading multidisciplinary teams and nurturing client relationships. Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing projects through all RIBA stages, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and maintaining strong client relationships
- Promoting excellence in BIM and Revit workflows, ensuring high technical standards, documentation, and specification quality
- Leading, mentoring, and developing team members, fostering inclusive, collaborative environments and flexible hybrid/remote working practices
- Presenting confidently to clients and wider stakeholder groups; contributing to bids, proposals, and business development
- Travel to Australia may be involved later down the line
Key Skills / Requirements
- A registered Architect either in the UK or overseas
- Minimum of 4 years’ post-Part III experience working on residential or mixed-use projects throughout RIBA stages, with international exposure highly valued
- Exceptional design skills combined with robust technical knowledge and attention to detailing
- Proficient in Revit is necessary for the role
- Demonstrated success in delivering complex projects, managing teams, and overseeing resources and budgets effectively
- Excellent communication and presentation with client facing experience being beneficial
