We are working with a leading design studio, internationally renowned for its high-end interior projects across residential, hospitality, and more, to find a highly organised and efficient Procurement Coordinator to join its team in London. With a focus on delivering exceptional, tailored designs, this full-time, office-based role will support the seamless purchasing and administrative operations of a fast-paced interior design department, with a particular focus on bespoke, one-off pieces and FF&E procurement.
The ideal candidate will have strong procurement experience particularly within interior design, and a deep understanding of FF&E processes. You will be adept at managing project timelines, working closely with design teams to streamline project execution, and ensure successful installations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on projects with global exposure, including potential to work on projects across the US. Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with design teams to source bespoke FF&E for high-end residential projects
- Review technical shop drawings to ensure alignment with design intent
- Manage procurement, placing orders for furniture, fabrics, lighting, and custom pieces
- Oversee order tracking, deliveries, and logistics, handling all import/export documentation
- Liaise with teams to address procurement challenges and update on project progress
- Work with finance to process invoices and maintain budget oversight
- Build strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely deliveries and quality control
- Coordinate site installations, addressing any snagging issues
- Maintain budgets, reports, and project schedules while ensuring compliance with local regulations
- Support logistics for wider team and hospitality projects as needed
- Previous experience in FF&E procurement, ideally within interior design
- Strong negotiation, supplier management, and logistics coordination skills
- Knowledge of international trade, export processes, and documentation
- Ability to understand and interpret technical drawings and CAD files for furniture and lighting
- Excellent communication, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
