About The Role:
Our client, a globally recognised design studio, is seeking an experienced and proactive New Business Manager to join their London team on a 15-month fixed-term contract.
This is a key strategic role focused on identifying and developing new business opportunities across the US. You will work closely with senior leadership to shape the studio’s approach to winning work, lead the preparation of bids and proposals, and build strong external relationships that support the studio’s continued growth.
The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in business development within the design or architecture sector across the US and possess excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- Grow the new business strategy and network within the US region
- Track new business opportunities that align with the studio’s strategy
- Attend client and stakeholder meetings and visits
- Analyse and report on the US market and monitor trends
- Oversee high-quality new business submissions, bids, and presentations
- Prepare presentations that summarise new business projects
- Brief internal teams on upcoming projects
- Maintain internal database
Key Skills/Requirements:
- Experience and interest in architecture, design, and the wider built environment
- Knowledge and contacts within the US markets
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work well in a team
- Efficient on Microsoft Office and Adobe Create Suite
- Excellent attention to detail
