Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the design and successful delivery of high-end hospitality interiors, supporting projects from the initial concept stage through to completion while helping bring the studio’s creative vision to life.
- Generate innovative design concepts through research, narrative development, sketching, material studies and visual presentations, ensuring each proposal reflects the project’s location, culture and client objectives.
- Create and deliver engaging presentations, design packages and client proposals, communicating ideas clearly to both clients and internal project teams.
- Work closely with senior designers, project managers and multidisciplinary teams to refine concepts, solve design challenges and achieve exceptional project outcomes.
- Develop FF&E schemes, material selections, specifications and schedules, ensuring consistency with the overall design intent throughout each phase of the project.
- Coordinate the design and procurement of bespoke furniture, joinery and interior features, liaising with manufacturers, suppliers and specialist consultants.
- Support collaboration with lighting, MEP and structural consultants to ensure seamless integration of technical requirements within the overall design.
- Prepare accurate technical drawings, specifications and construction documentation to a high professional standard.
- Organise and prioritise project responsibilities, managing deadlines across multiple projects while working effectively both independently and within a collaborative studio environment.
Key Skills / Requirements:
- A degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or Architecture with relevant professional experience.
- 3+ years’ experience within luxury hospitality, hotel and/ or F&B Projects
- Experience contributing to projects from concept design through to completion.
- Strong design development skills with a passion for storytelling, materiality and creating considered interior environments.
- Confident communication and presentation skills, with the ability to contribute effectively in client and consultant meetings.
- A collaborative and proactive individual who enjoys working within a creative studio environment.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage priorities, deadlines and project deliverables.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite is highly desirable.
- Flexibility to travel internationally on occasion as projects require.
