About The Role: The Crowd are partnered with a mid-sized, international luxury interior design studio – they are looking for a proactive and commercially minded HR Generalist to manage the studio’s people function at an exciting stage of growth. You will oversee the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to performance management and employee engagement, while ensuring HR operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will help shape company culture, implement best-practice HR processes, and align people initiatives with the studio’s wider business objectives. The ideal candidate will have strong generalist experience, excellent organisational skills, and a thorough understanding of UK employment legislation and HR best practice. In addition to being confident working in a fast-paced, creative environment, you will be an effective communicator with the ability to build trusted relationships across the business. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, and day-to-day HR operations
  • Act as the first point of contact for HR queries, providing guidance and support across the business
  • Develop and maintain HR policies, ensuring compliance with UK employment legislation and best practice
  • Coordinate end-to-end recruitment processes
  • Assist with performance reviews, employee development, and engagement programmes
  • Support employee relations matters, fostering a positive and collaborative studio culture

Key Skills/Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a generalist HR role within a creative or design environment
