An innovative and multi-disciplinary architecture and interior design studio are looking for an Accounts Receivable Assistant to join their busy finance team. Our client is one of the top names in the industry that have carved a name for themselves over the years as being leaders in their field.

In this role you will work within a small team, reporting to the Head of Finance and will be responsible for:

  • Raising client invoices, confirming billing schedules with project leaders, and managing the invoicing schedule
  • Reviewing and reconciling project financials, posting sales receipts and managing customer statements
  • Supporting credit control
  • Assisting with month/year-end procedures, audits, and monitoring timesheet submissions
  • Maintaining finance records, managing shared billings inbox, and handling finance queries
  • Proposing process improvements and supporting finance projects
  • Taking ownership of professional development
  • Performing additional duties as needed

Key Skills / Requirements:

  • Previous experience in finance, particularly in accounts receivable roles
  • Skilled in handling confidential information
  • Knowledge of financial accounting principles
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and time management skills
  • Capable of thriving in a busy environment and adapting to changing priorities
  • Proactive, able to work independently with good financial analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting software such as Xero, SAGE or QuickBooks, with Xero being highly advantageous
