Job Description
About The Role:
We have partnered with a highly collaborative and design-led urban design studio that is looking for a Landscape Designer to join their London office.
Upon joining the team, you will be working with a supportive group on a variety of public realm and urban projects in the heart of the city. The ideal candidate would be an all-rounder who wants to be involved in the entire creative process – from design development and planning to technical stages – and have the opportunity for on-site exposure while working on exciting projects based in London.
This creative studio offers the opportunity to work on design solutions that are responsive to context, culture, and nature with a forward-thinking team. Additionally, this employee-owned company provides flexible and hybrid working, a cycle-to-work scheme, and walking tours around London.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the design and delivery of landscape and urban projects, from concept through to detailed design and construction
- Produce drawings, technical packages, and presentation material to support client meetings and design reviews
- Assist in the coordination of design information between internal teams, consultants, and contractors
- Carry out research and analysis to inform design proposals that enhance London’s public realm and urban identity
- Support senior designers with site visits, surveys, and project documentation
Key Skills/Requirements:
- A degree or master’s degree in landscape architecture, urban design or architecture
- Ideally, at least two years’ experience working on landscape or urban projects in the UK
- Clear, confident communicator with excellent spoken and written English skills
- Familiarity with Revit and/or Rhino software is necessary for this role
- A strong portfolio that demonstrates creativity and design expertise
