Job Description
About The Role:
We are partnering with a leading interior design studio to recruit both Junior and Midweight FF&E Designers to join their talented team working on high-end luxury hospitality and residential projects.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a design-led, supportive team working on award-winning hospitality interiors with a reputation for quality and creativity.
Junior FF&E Designers:
You will support the senior design team across all stages of the design process, from concept to completion. This role is ideal for someone with a keen eye for materials and finishes, a genuine passion for interiors, and a strong willingness to learn and grow within a collaborative studio environment.
Midweight FF&E Designers:
You will take more ownership of design packages and specifications, while contributing creatively and technically across a range of high-end hospitality and F&B projects. You will work closely with senior designers and project leads, helping to shape and deliver the studio’s signature design vision.
Key Responsibilities (Both Roles Include):
- Assist in developing the creative vision for each project alongside Directors, Associates, and Project Leads
- Support design research and concept development, including mood imagery, spatial inspiration, and material references
- Contribute to the development of material palettes through sample sourcing, supplier meetings, and showroom visits
- Help prepare concept presentations and material boards
- Source and select furniture, fabrics, lighting, and accessories
- Produce FF&E documentation, including drawings, schedules, and specifications, coordinated with consultants
- Review samples, prototypes, and shop drawings to ensure design intent
- Attend site visits and installations as needed
Key Skills/Requirements:
- Junior Role: 1–3 years’ experience in interior or FF&E design
- Midweight Role: 3–5 years’ experience, ideally with luxury or hospitality focus
- Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and SketchUp
- Strong freehand sketching and visual communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong sense of colour and materials
- Experience in high-end design is essential
- Right to work in the UK
