The Crowd has partnered with a prestigious, employee-focused architecture practice globally renowned for its diverse portfolio of multi-award-winning projects. They are seeking a Communications Director with experience in architecture/built environment to spearhead the development of the company’s international identity.

In this newly created role, you will work closely with the senior leadership team to shape and implement the practice’s strategic branding and communications direction while managing and developing a small communications team. The ideal candidate will possess a commercial and strategic mindset, a strong visual sense, and solid PR experience within the built environment sector.

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement a comprehensive communications strategy

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including mainstream media and PR agencies

  • Oversee press releases, interviews, and media engagement to promote key projects, events, and initiatives effectively

  • Respond to media inquiries, ensuring consistent, professional, and accurate representation of the practice

  • Manage and mentor a small communications team, ensuring high-quality and timely work delivery

  • Extensive experience in a communications role within the architecture/built environment sector
