About The Role: We have partnered with a highly esteemed architecture and interior design studio that is known for their design-led projects in the UK and internationally who are looking for a BIM Assistant to join their supportive and social team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience supporting the delivery of design-led projects and having worked in an architecture focused BIM team or within BIM led projects within a leading practice. You will play a key part of the team, collaborating with the wider project teams to develop workflow and BIM set up. Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the team in monitoring the performance and quality levels of BIM models and ensure they satisfy the prescribed project-specific BIM requirements and our client’s standards
  • Coordinate various projects throughout work stages
  • Develop and communicate new software, technologies, and best practice workflows to the wider team
  • Create and maintain bespoke Revit families
  • Maintain company standards and cross fertilisation across the practice through agreed upon procedures and deliverables
  • Be an active BIM knowledge-sharer and specialist, mentoring and advising on processes and standards, providing support and guidance to team members

Key Skills / Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of the BIM processes and standards with proven experience of large-scale/complex projects
  • Strong working knowledge of BIM / Revit with technical knowledge support for core design
  • Understanding of Enscape, Dynamo and AutoCAD is beneficial
  • Flexible and adaptable approach, with good relationship-building skills
  • Ability to take initiative and take on daily tasks proactively
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with a team and independently
