About The Role:
A rare opportunity has arisen to take a leading role on a major public-facing project of national significance, where you will have the chance to help deliver a scheme that will have a lasting impact on communities and the wider built environment. Our client, an established and growing London-based architectural practice is seeking an Associate / Senior Associate or Associate Director to join its leadership team and play a key role within this exciting project.
This would suit a socially conscious architect who is passionate about community-focused projects and keen to pursue opportunities within the cultural sector, whilst bringing strong leadership, commercial awareness and a confident approach to stakeholder management. You will work within a complex stakeholder environment, helping to shape the development and delivery of a high-profile scheme, whilst working closely with the Directors and wider project team. Alongside project leadership, the role will involve wider studio responsibilities, including providing technical expertise, mentoring project teams and helping to drive delivery standards across the practice. As the studio continues to grow, you will play an important role in shaping both project outcomes and the future leadership structure of the business.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the delivery of a major, complex architectural project through multiple RIBA stages
- Manage and mentor project teams, providing clear direction, support and accountability
- Act as a trusted point of contact for clients, consultants and key stakeholders
- Report directly to the Directors on project performance, risks and opportunities
- Provide technical leadership and quality assurance across projects
- Support resource planning, programme management and project profitability
- Contribute to the strategic growth, culture and leadership of the wider practice
Key Skills / Requirements:
- Qualified Architect with experience operating at Associate, Senior Associate or Associate Director level
- Strong Revit proficiency and excellent technical capability
- Proven experience leading large-scale UK architectural projects
- Thorough understanding of UK building regulations, construction standards and project delivery processes
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing, mentoring and developing teams
- Excellent communication, client-facing and stakeholder management abilities
- Commercial awareness, including project resourcing, budgeting and profitability
