The Croc is an award-winning London marketing agency and we are looking for a talented Brand Marketing Manager to work in-house with one of our brilliant clients, on a 1-year contract.
The role sits within a fast-paced, scale-up division within our client’s business. The ideal candidate will thrive in this environment, bringing their strong brand management, project management and organisation skills to the role; capabilities ideally developed within a regulated industry.
Although you will be employed on a 1-year contract by The Croc, all of your time will be spent immersed in the large brand team of our client’s business, a household name in the UK and many countries worldwide.
This is a hybrid role, ideally with three-days in the office, and will be suited to candidates able to start within a maximum of four to six weeks.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Brand Marketing Manager contributes to the evolution of our client’s brand positioning, messaging and creative executions across the funnel from traditional ATL channels to Web, Social, Events, Direct Marketing and Digital.
You will work with the rest of the marketing team and with our clients’ agency roster to deliver marketing campaigns and activations that drive awareness, consideration and have commercial impact.
You will be responsible for the delivery of our client’s brand plans, ensuring their messaging, tone of voice, creative execution and media plans are fit for purpose and support the end goal of strengthening the master brand.
This is a pivotal role in our client’s team, ensuring there is alignment between Marketing teams, Proposition, Insights, PR, Internal Comms, Data & Marketing Ops and Digital.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Brand Strategy & Guardianship
- Contribute to the development and evolution of the brand strategy
- Act as a brand guardian and ensure the brand is activated consistently and to a high standard across touchpoints and brand guidelines are followed.
- Provide guidance and direction on the brand to other relevant members of the organisation
Brand Campaigns Planning & Development
- Support the Brand Marketing Manager and Head of Brand on developing briefs and driving E2E execution of campaigns
- Drive media and creative strategy and day-to-day conversations with our advertising and creative agencies.
- Run post-campaign analysis, drawing clear and actionable learnings for future campaigns across creative and media.
Messaging, Creative Strategy & Production
- Define the messaging and creative direction for demand generation and customer marketing campaigns targeting all our market segments
- Guide the development and production of all campaign assets (DM, EM, OLV, Radio, TV, print, social content, print assets, display banners, web, etc) from agency briefing to asset delivery to media, digital and marketing teams
- Collaborate with the Insights team to identify customer and market insights to inform the messaging and creative strategy and keep monitoring our brand health
- Align with the Marketing Project Manager to effectively manage brand and demand campaigns schedule and timely delivery of all assets
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with Finance, Sales, Legal, Customer Service & Ops and Product team when required
- Manage creative production budget and ensure effective spending of activities
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Significant brand marketing experience, ideally in a regulated industry environment
- Proven track record of developing and executing insight-driven ATL, BTL and digital campaigns that drive brand awareness, build credibility and generate demand
- Extensive experience of working with creative and production agencies
- Strong design eye, detail-oriented
- Excellent organisation, communication and influencing skills
- Be flexible and adapt well to change, being willing to roll up your sleeves and see where things need to be done in the highly dynamic environment that our client represents
