What makes an engaging lesson for primary pupils or adults developing their skills? How do we share our passion and knowledge about the environment in ways that inspire others? What goes into making effective educational and training materials?

We are looking for an excellent communicator to join our team and support an evolving environmental education and training programme. As Project Officer you will become an integral part of our dedicated and dynamic team working collaboratively to support our mission to restore nature, keep carbon where it belongs, and inspire others.

Responsibilities
  • Support a range of projects delivered by the Centre, especially the development and delivery of environmental education and training programmes.
  • Work with all CCC project leads across science, education, arts, and restoration.
  • Coordinate the integration of primary and professional learning programmes to bring together climate, environmental, and peatland restoration training.
  • Assist in creating and improving educational materials and training delivery.
Qualifications
  • Self‑motivated, experienced, and enthusiastic communication skills.
  • Demonstrable relevant education experience; training will be provided on the job.
  • Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (science, education, arts, restoration).
