Job Title: CreateClub Leader (After-School Club)

Location: Portchester

Hours: 2 x 1.5hr session per week (term time only), between the hours of 3-4:30pm (depending on specific school finish times)

Potential for additional sessions in the future.

Start Date: as soon as possible

Starting Pay: £13 per hour

About the Role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable individual to lead our after-school CreateClub sessions at a primary schools in Portchester. You\’ll be delivering fun, creative activities to primary-aged children, using provided lesson plans and resources. The role involves working independently to lead sessions, manage behaviour, and ensure a safe and engaging environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead after-school session per week during term time
  • Manage a group of up to 20 primary-aged children independently
  • Maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive environment
  • Use provided plans and materials to deliver creative, hands-on activities
  • Transport and set up equipment and resources as needed

Requirements:

  • 18+
  • Experience working with children (preferred but not essential)
  • Confident in managing a range of group behaviours independently
  • Strong organizational skills and reliability
  • Driving license and access to a car preferred (due to equipment transport)

Willingness to undergo or provide:

  • Enhanced DBS check
  • Safeguarding training
  • First Aid training

(Training and certification can be provided if needed).
