The Crab & Lobster Inn is currently recruiting for a hot-side chef to join our team. Perched right above Bembridge beach, The Crab and Lobster Inn is a busy and vibrant pub, specialising in seafood and boasting a refined a la carte menu.
Reporting to the head chef, the successful applicant will have a passion for working with seasonal fresh produce in an often fast-paced environment. You will also be an excellent communicator and team player with the ability to motivate and develop junior members of the kitchen team. This position would suit someone who has previously worked in a restaurant or good quality pub environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Working closely with the Head Chef to ensure food is prepared and presented to the highest standards.
- Maintaining food hygiene policies and regulations.
A passion for high quality fresh food and a commitment to great service is essential.
Requirements:
- Food & Hygiene certificate, Level 2 or above.
