How will you develop? We want you to get the most out of your internship and will provide you with enough training so you have the knowledge and skills to succeed in your role. Your first week will involve you learning all about Coventry Building Society, our processes and how we work. You'll then put your knowledge into practice with the support of a buddy who will be on hand to answer any questions along the way. Your manager will also provide you with regular feedback and support to make sure you're getting the most out of your programme.
Our Internship Programmes will start on Monday 20th July and will run until Friday 28th of August working full time Monday to Friday. This is a great opportunity to understand how we work and some of our interns have gone on to secure part-time Saturday roles to fit around their study at the end of the programme.
The selection process will involve a review of your CV and application questions, a telephone interview and a competency interview with a couple of our friendly Managers. We're looking for individuals who share our values and our passion for putting people first. If you like building relationships with new people, have good attention to detail and like learning new things, this could be the programme for you. You'll need to have a positive, friendly attitude and excellent communication skills. We're looking for people who have the confidence to engage with a diverse variety of people, who are customer focused and have the ability to be accurate and deal with our customer's transactions.
Flexibility and Why it Matters: We want you to get the most out of the opportunity and as it’s only on for 6 weeks it’s important you don’t have any more than a couple of days holiday during this time, with none of this during the first week, as these are the key training days. The programme is only available to students studying for the first time in years 12 or 13 at college or 6th form, who have not completed the programme previously.
