About Us
We’re a proudly family-owned Australian business with big ambitions and even bigger flavours.

What began as a small bakery has grown into a national food group with three manufacturing sites — including a dedicated gluten-free facility — and a portfolio of much-loved brands, including:

Temptation Bakeries

Charlotte’s Bakery

Gluten Free Bakehouse

Our products can be found in major supermarkets, food service venues, airlines, and export markets across the country.

The Opportunity
We’re looking for a creative and commercially minded Development Chef to join our innovation team. You’ll help shape the next generation of savoury bakes, pastries, and ready-to-eat solutions that Australians enjoy every day.

Responsibilities

Develop and trial new recipes across a variety of categories including pies, quiches, sausage rolls, stews, and frozen meals

Collaborate closely with our production, QA, marketing, and commercial teams to bring concepts to market

Balance innovation with practicality — considering taste, texture, shelf life, compliance, and production efficiency

Keep the customer experience at the heart of everything you create

What We’re Looking For

A hands-on chef with experience in food manufacturing or commercial foodservice development

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work from concept through to production

A passion for real, honest food and a love for creating things people truly enjoy

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment with multiple projects

Experience developing both savoury and sweet products, with a strong understanding of multicultural cuisines and flavour profiles

Why Join Us?
This is more than a chef role — it’s an opportunity to innovate, lead and grow within a fast-moving and supportive team. You’ll see your work come to life in products sold across Australia and beyond, and you’ll be part of a team that values quality, creativity, and doing things the right way.
