HR Adviser Reference: HQ2609/008 Company: CCMS (The Council for Catholic Maintained Schools) Location: Lisburn Salary: NJC 27-32 Β£39,481 - Β£44,253 Term: Permanent Closing date: Monday 28th September 2026 @ 12 noon HR Adviser The Council is seeking to appoint a HR Adviser to provide professional support to Boards of Governors, Principals and Senior Management Teams of schools. The successful candidate must demonstrate evidence of excellent customer service, self-motivation and drive and the ability to effectively organise and prioritise their own caseload. Experience should also show a proven track record of self-motivation and problem-solving abilities. Applicants must hold a full, current, valid driving licence and have use of a car - or demonstrate that they can meet the travel requirements of the post by alternative means - and be prepared to work outside normal office hours. Essential Criteria Applicants should have at least 3 years experience giving advice and guidance on at least two of the following major functions: people management / HR policies and procedures recruitment and selection of staff governance and finance A degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent Level 6 qualification. Desirable Criteria Preference may be given to candidates who: Hold or are currently working towards a relevant professional or postgraduate qualification e.g. CIPD. or Those candidates that have relevant experience of working within the education sector.
