CCMS (The Council for Catholic Maintained Schools) is seeking to appoint an Education Adviser (Primary and Early Years) to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team with responsibility for the raising standards agenda and will work on the development and implementation of effective area planning.
The post holder will advise on a range of professional educational issues in the primary sector and be required to lead and develop policy area(s) across the primary and early years phase. The post-holder will be responsible for locality primary schools mainly within the Fermanagh & Omagh District Council, Mid-Ulster District Council and Armagh, Banbridge & Craigavon Borough Council areas, and all Catholic Maintained nursery schools in Northern Ireland.
- Possess a minimum of 4 years experience in the last 6 in a leadership role within a primary school or comparable education setting.
- Demonstrate an understanding of Early Years policy and provision.
- Provide evidence of collaborative working in a range of different settings or with other education providers.
- Provide evidence of having led on an area of policy.
- Demonstrate evidence of having accessed relevant continuous professional development.
