To manage and co‑ordinate the daily tasks of the Outlet Warehouse & Warehouse Operative, keeping the sales floor well stocked to enable the sales team to maximise sales revenue. Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Use systems and reports to drive stock turnover to aid sales
  • Create and inspire a motivated team
  • Take responsibility for stock management, count, discrepancies and loss prevention
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve processes and maximise results
  • Collaborate with warehouse to maintain appropriate levels of stock to maximise sales
  • Ensure all stock is safely handled during each part of its movement within the outlet
  • Take responsibility for the safeguarding of store property and the safety of equipment

General Responsibilities:

  • Build strong working relationships in the Outlet and collaborate with senior manager, Warehouse and Head Office.

Financial Accountability:

  • Identifies opportunities in Outlet to minimise costs and maximise profit.
  • Is accountable for the warehouse costs such as waste, equipment and stock.

Person Specification:

  • Previous supervisory experience is desirable.
  • Strong written, verbal and IT skills are essential.
  • An individual who is willing to learn and develop within the role.
  • Due diligence according to environmental circumstances.
  • A want to find better ways to do things.
  • Ability to adapt to whatever changes in plans the day brings.
  • The ability to respond quickly to changing demands and time management skills to manage you, your day and what you need to do.

  • A high level of physical fitness and strength.
  • Current counterbalance forklift licence.

  • Manual Handling training.

  • Good level of computer literacy.
  • Customer facing skills.
