The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

Daily management of Depot Managers ensuring relevant HR policies are followed and adhered to.

Work alongside Depot managers to obtain depot KPIs to be reported to the CHD Transport Manager at regular points.

Oversee the performance of all remote depots and the Home Delivery and trunking network operating from Lichfield DC.

Lead, coach, and support Depot Managers, Warehouse Managers, and driver leadership teams to ensure consistent standards, performance, and engagement.

Play a key role in shaping and delivering the operational strategy to support current needs and future growth.

Provide leadership and direction to 3.5 ton and HGV Class 1 driver operations across the network.

Create a positive, engaged, and high-performing driver culture focused on safety, service, and product care.

About You

  • Strong and confident leader with ability to coach, develop and improve teams.
  • Commercially astute with a proven record of cost control and KPI management.
  • CPC qualification.
  • Transport and operations manager experience.
  • Highly resilient.
  • Prepares themselves on attention to detail.
  • Passionate about customer service & continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work to deadlines whilst prioritising workload.
