Harriet Wellbeing Manager – Full Time hours: 37 per week; Term Time only inclusive of Inset days; 8.00am - 4.00pm Monday - Friday. Salary: Grade 4 £27,780 - £30,564 per annum fte; actual salary for 37 hours per week £24,147 - £26,567.

Our pastoral and wellbeing provision has strengthened to ensure student wellbeing is embedded at the heart of school life. The Harriet Wellbeing Centre provides a calm, purposeful environment for targeted support and reflects our commitment to nurturing the whole child. We are seeking to appoint a Harriet Wellbeing Manager to lead and develop this provision.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the Harriet Wellbeing Centre and the delivery of small group wellbeing interventions for students requiring additional emotional or mental health support.
  • Coordinate work with pastoral leaders, safeguarding staff, SEN teams, families and external agencies.
  • Collaborate with the Family Liaison Officer to ensure a highly informed, collaborative approach to supporting students and families.
  • Build trusting relationships, facilitate group work, and monitor and evaluate the impact of interventions.
  • Support professional development in wellbeing and mental health; contribute to training and progression opportunities for staff.
  • Contribute to a school culture with systems and processes that improve outcomes for young people.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Strong pastoral and wellbeing background with ability to engage with students and families.
  • Ideal candidates will be THRIVE or trauma-informed trained; the school is committed to developing the right candidate and will provide training and ongoing support.
  • Interest in and commitment to ongoing professional development in counselling, psychology and therapeutic practice.
