What you'll be doing: Your responsibilities will vary depending on your experience and role, but could include:
- Preparing and cooking fresh, seasonal pub dishes and handcrafted pizzas to the highest standards
- Working across different sections of the kitchen, developing your skills and knowledge
- Supporting smooth, organised services by working collaboratively with the wider kitchen team
- Preparing fresh ingredients with care and maintaining consistency throughout every service
- Maintaining the highest standards of food safety, hygiene and kitchen organisation
- Assisting with stock rotation, food preparation and reducing waste
- Supporting, coaching and encouraging junior chefs where appropriate
- Bringing a positive attitude, strong teamwork and pride to every shift
What we’re looking for: We're looking for people who love cooking, enjoy being part of a team and take pride in producing consistently great food. Whether you're applying as a Commis Chef, Breakfast Chef, Chef de Partie, Sous Chef, Head Chef or Pizza Chef, you'll ideally have:
- Experience in a professional kitchen appropriate to your level
- A genuine passion for quality food and fresh ingredients
- Pizza-making experience for Pizza Chef roles, although chefs with broader kitchen experience are equally encouraged to apply
- A calm, organised approach and the ability to work well under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and pride in every dish you prepare
- A positive attitude, excellent work ethic and willingness to support your team
- A desire to keep learning, developing and progressing your career
