About the role
- Develop students’ ability to access learning by use of interventions and skills as guided by SENDCo and/or expert professionals.
- Work with either individuals or groups of students to ensure their safety and facilitate their physical, emotional and educational development.
- Support and monitor the progress of individuals/groups of students in the classroom.
- Promote independent learning.
- Establish a supporting and positive relationship with students and parents/carers.
- Work proactively to improve the progress of students with classroom support and interventions to ensure all abilities can access a high standard of learning and achieve best possible outcomes.
About you
- Have experience working with students with SEN.
- Be confident in the use of Information Technology.
- Be flexible and willing to learn.
- Have a commitment to your own CPD – this could include a Level 3 TA Qualification or willingness to undertake this training, which will be delivered by United Learning with supported time to complete this qualification.
