Food Technology Technician

Start date: September 2025

Salary:Full Time Equivalent £24,595 / Actual pro rata £18,109

Part time - 32 hours a week Monday to Friday

8.30am – 3.30pm Monday to Thursday

8.30am- 3pm Friday (including a daily 30 minute unpaid lunch)

Term time only - 39 weeks per year - 38 school weeks, plus training days

We are seeking to appoint a professional and enthusiastic Food Technician to support teaching staff in delivery to all students. The successful candidate will support food technology and undertake technical support duties within the academy. The post would be of interest to a creative and flexible person. We are looking for an experienced individual who possesses effective communication skills and knowledge and understanding of working in this environment.

Previous experience in a food related area is desirable but not essential, if you have an interest in cooking and baking, home skills would complement and transfer over to this role.
