Governance Assistant
£Market Rate, South West
We are working exclusively on a new Governance Assistant position for our award-winning client based in the South West. The role holder will report into the Governance Manager and be involved in a wide variety of work including board and committee support, statutory compliance and ad hoc projects. Currently doing 3 days in the office, our client offers comprehensive benefits and can equally support with the CGI qualification. Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Providing effective assistance to the Governance team
- Board and committee support including drafting agendas, preparing meetings packs and follow up actions
- Maintaining regulatory compliance and governance registers
- Stakeholder management including inductions and onboarding
Experience and Qualifications:
- CGI qualified or studying towards qualification (desirable)
- Previous experience in a governance role, especially board and committee support
- Not-for-profit background (desirable)
Attitudes and Behaviours:
Good eye for detail who thrives in a varied and fast-paced environment
- Conscientious and willing to continuously learn and improve
- Solid organisational and communication skills
