The Copenhagen Candle Company Ltd, established 23 years ago, is a leading UK Candle and Home Fragrance manufacturer with production facilities in the UK and China. We supply a wide variety of home fragrance products to multiple major retailers in the UK and internationally. Our growing business delivers high quality products at competitive prices and we hold an excellent reputation as a progressive and developing company having recently made significant investment into a state-of-the-art candle production facility at our head office in Kent.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of developmental product samples for supermarkets.
  • Stability/longevity testing of samples.
  • Liaise with suppliers to obtain and verify raw material documentation.
  • Providing sound knowledge of cosmetic and fragrance ingredients, raw material suppliers and formulation techniques.
  • Creation of finished product MSDS documents on Formpak software.
  • Providing CLP labelling advice & compliance for UK, EU and other markets.
  • Creation of finished product specifications for various customers.
  • Maintaining and updating Formapk software raw materials information.
  • UFI notifications through ECHA Website.
  • Create, review, and update product and technical documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry regulations and customer requirements.

Qualifications and Skills:

-Previous experience within a technical or similar role.

-Chemistry qualification preferable but not essential.

-Ability to build strong working relationships across all areas of the business. A real team-player.

-Well developed communication & organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.

-Putting the customer at the heart of the organisation.

-Self-motivated with the ability to manage their own timetable and deliver results.

-Strong level of computer literacy (Excel/Word/Office)
