The Coopers’ Company and Coborn School is a dynamic, co‑educational school. We are seeking an enthusiastic candidate to join the successful Mathematics Department on a temporary basis to cover Maternity Leave. The school boasts excellent facilities and high‑achieving students.

Responsibilities

  • Teach Mathematics across Key Stage 3, 4 and 5 using the White Rose scheme, AQA GCSE specification and Edexcel Further Mathematics.
  • Provide engaging instruction and support to students in their high‑quality workbooks and key‑stage curricula.
  • Support the ECT induction programme and welcome Early Career Teachers.
  • Participate in pastoral care and extra‑curricular provision.
  • Maintain professional development through TLR3s and other CPD opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Qualified teacher of Mathematics (or relevant subject) with a strong teaching record.
  • Experience in Key Stages 3–5 preferred but not essential.
  • Early Career Teachers are welcomed.
  • Successful candidates will obtain a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure via the Disclosure & Barring Service and complete pre‑employment checks.
