Elevation Recruitment are proud to be partnering with The Cooper Turner Beck Group in their search for a Site Sales Manager.

Reporting directly to the Senior VP, this is the lead commercial role for the main Sheffield manufacturing site.

You will own the sales operation end-to-end — driving revenue growth within the existing OEM customer base, developing new business across the renewables sector, and building the capability of a 10-strong sales team.

We are looking for an experienced commercial leader with genuine gravitas — someone who can walk the shopfloor and the boardroom with equal confidence.

You will need to demonstrate

  • A track record of building and leading high-performance sales teams — with clear examples of how you have done it.
  • Strong technical understanding of engineering or manufacturing environments — you don't need to be an engineer, but you must be credible with one.
  • Proven experience in structured pipeline management, quote conversion tracking and CRM discipline.
  • Lean, continuous improvement or process-driven mindset — this role demands rigour alongside energy.
  • The ability to make things happen — to drive change, bring people with you and deliver results in a complex, multi-site environment.
  • Export and international trade experience — familiarity with customs, CBAM or similar compliance frameworks is advantageous.
  • The commercial capability to get involved in quoting when needed — this is a hands-on as well as a strategic role.
