We have an opportunity for a Gerber Training Officer to work with our Technical and Design team on a fixed-term basis.
Responsibilities
- Deliver training on Gerber pattern software to relevant employees.
- Assist in creating and maintaining training materials and user guides.
- Provide coaching and technical support on pattern development processes.
- Assess training needs and monitor learner progress.
- Maintain training records and competency matrices.
- Support software implementation and process improvement initiatives.
- Liaise with design, technical, and production teams to ensure effective knowledge transfer.
- Promote best practice in pattern creation and garment manufacturing processes.
This is not an exhaustive list of all responsibilities. The successful job holder will be expected to perform varying tasks as required by their line manager & the overall objectives of the organisation.

Requirements
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience using Gerber pattern software.
- Previous pattern cutting experience within the textiles or garment manufacturing industry.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and training delivery skills.
- Organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Must be available to start within a week of being offered
Desirable Requirements
- Experience developing training materials.
- Previous training, coaching, or mentoring experience.
- Knowledge of garment construction and manufacturing processes.
