Teaching Assistant (Year 6 – Academic Support)

The Coombes CE Primary School is seeking a caring, enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant to join our high-performing Year 6 team.

In this role you will:

• Support high-quality teaching and learning within the classroom.
• Deliver targeted interventions for individuals and small groups.
• Help pupils to become resilient, independent and confident learners.
• Promote positive behaviour and contribute to an ambitious learning culture.
• Prepare learning resources and maintain an engaging classroom environment.
• Support educational visits, sporting events and the wider life of the school.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, leaders and external professionals to ensure every child reaches their full potential.
